Bill Mitchell, Dean of the School of Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and author of City of Bits: Space, Place and the Infobahn, presented his acclaimed vision of tomorrow’s urban centres.
Jim Yuan, OCRInet, discussed the Ottawa Community Network, a cooperative effort to electronically link major local institutions and their services.
Patrick Déoux, Delcan Corporation, gave an overview of trends in Ottawa-Carleton, and moderated a panel discussion.
