Diamond is: founder of Diamond Schmitt Architects (DSAI); RAIC Gold Medalist; member of the Order of Ontario; an Officer of the Order of Canada; a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and, most recently, the recipient of both the Ontario Association of Architects and the Jane Jacobs Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Mr. Diamond examined how Canadian cities have never been more important, but less understood and inappropriately funded. The steps to be taken to correct this are hiding in full view. Our economic and social future depends on getting it right.
